Review of the Caroni 67 inch FM1700ASC Rotary Tiller
After 7 years of hard use, this Caroni Rotary Tiller is still going strong. We've used it to till the garden every year and we used it to till 20 acres that we converted from row crops to pasture. It's needed some repairs along the way, but has been a solid performed. It runs great with our 43hp New Holland 2120 FWD tractor.
The tiller is easy to hitch to any 3-pt hitch tractor.
The tiller's 42 hoes attached to 8 flanges does a great job of tilling even hard soil or incorporating tall cover crops.
The tiller's adjustable hitches allow it to be centered on the tractor or adjusted to move the tiller about 6" to the right.
Caroni is a trusted name in agricultural equipment and replacement parts are fairly easy to obtain.
Cons of the Caroni 67in FM1700ASC Rotary Tiller
The tiller's adjustable skids require tools to adjust the tilling depth.
The hoes on the tiller tend to loosen with use and can be difficult to tighten or replace.
