For a $60 consultation fee, veterinarians at the Animal Poison Control Center will make recommendations for immediate treatment as well as continue to assist your veterinarian throughout the emergency.

When calling the Animal Poison Control Center, veterinarians will ask you:

• Age of horse poisoned
• Sex of horse poisoned
• Weight of horse poisoned
• How many horses are involved in the suspected poisoning
