Tammy and I went off to Umstead State Park to attend the 4th annual Tomatopalooza.

We had a great time there and Tammy got Craig LeHoullier for an article she is writing for Back Home Magazine!

My parents visited this weekend and we took a trip to the NC Botanical Garden. The garden was beautiful. Mom was really interested in the poisonous plant section =)

The Big Leafed Magnolia was spectacular. We’re thinking of getting one for our yard.

Tammy is enrolled in a photo journalism course with the Carrboro Arts Center. Her instructor, Megan Daniels, had a field trip out to the USA vs Taiwan baseball game at the Bull’s stadium in Durham.

The teams were both great and the US won the game!

We sat in the bleachers with a group of Chinese Taipei supporters. They were really into the game. One of the fans had a great big Taiwanese flag that he would wave while the crowd rooted on the team.
