We have an amazing array of cut flowers this year.

My favorites:  zinnias, black-eyed Susans and globe amaranth.  Oh, and did I mention sunflowers, celosia, snapdragons and purple millet?  They're all great and make stunning bouquets.

An added bonus is that they attract more birds, butterflies and bees than we could have ever imagined.  We probably have more butterflies, bees and wasps than we have Japanese beetles and that is quite a feat!
